Default RE: SCALE JET e-S76 build

Michael,

That's one really good reason. I would always want to have surface control, no mater what.

I am no e-gooroo, but I kind of feel with a project of this magnitude, (nice word there, kind of reminds me of "Liquid Hot Magma") they should be separate. With 10,000mah of battery side saddled to this thing, I doubt there would ever be an issue. Not that the avionics will draw that much, but I believe it will give cleaner power to each sub system. I could be smoking crack, but its my story I can tell it my way.

These guys listen to what I say, but then again I feed them. Meet Cyrano and Roxanne. Guess which is who. I wonder if the nose gives it away.

Oh, and I cant forget Goliath. She, that's right "she" is an African Leopard Tortoise and weighs almost as much as my 76. I feed her too but she never listens.

The 1222 uses 2 each 7.6 but are completely separate internal to the micro processor. If one cell, in one battery fails, the battery becomes discharged, shorts etc, there is still redundancy with another battery. I will still have a full regulated 6v powering the control surfaces.

I put this thing on a scale last night. The doors, engine cowl, and race car were not installed and it weighed 29.2 lbs.

Butch

I have an IP to work on. hehe
