Vic,

10-4

There is a huge Soccer City Park where I have flown that I was told NOT ALLOWED and some have been approched by the Park staff and asked to leave. In fact thelast time I was there with my noob with a CX2 a lady came up on her bicycle and said; you thats not allowed here right, I am going call the Police if you dont leave! I said thank you for making me away and we continued to fly. My thought was if the cops show up ''like you'' show where it say NOT ALLOWED and see what they do. I agree if aint posted, it aint law!

I will say that on the wekends there are hundreds and hundreds of folks palying on the mutli many fields. But during the wek other than a few bikes and joggers she is EMPTY.

Using common sense is a biggie. Like you say, if there's small kids, bicycles, etc going on, not the right time. If the park is vacant except a couple people and they're not in your area...no problem. I've found that in recient years people are quick to tell you you cant do something, when in fact, you can...even on my own property this happened. People have a tendency to NOT mind their own business and do whatever they want but, are quick to tell you you can't do something.....I call 'em democrats (my personal opinion only). This is one of the biggest problems of society today in my opinion. I lived in a suburb of Chicago for 8 years. Some parks you could fly planes, some you couldn't, and some had hour restrictions of what time of day, but all were clearly outlined in the rules of the park posted at the entrance. One park even had a road to a designated airfield, a paved and lit/marked runways north/south and east/west...that was a NICE park.
