Wet clay and mud are the best to run ur tanks on, make sure the tracks are caked with mud afterward, that looks brilliant!
LOL...this from the man with a 1/6 King Tiger that weighs a few hundred pounds.

My PzIII and Bulldog both have plastic everything (tracks, gears, sprockets, etc). They do okay on freshly cut grass. But, after a week or so, the PzIII loses traction because the grass lifts its up. The Bulldog does better, but it does get a lot of grass in the tracks. Neither are superb at turning on the grass even when it's freshly mowed.
