I finally got to fly the Tiger 2 for the first time. Its a bit faster than what I'm use to. I had a Mag 46 AX and was having problems. I had it tuned but when I advanced the throttle, it would sputter and I would have to catch it before it dies. The "old timers" who know some stuff about engines told me that the low end needed adjusting. I had never mess with the low end so they grabbed a flathead and adjusted the screw. It likes to glide fast. I had a deadstick and when I turned toward the runway, I turned a bit to early and overshot the runway and landed in the grass. I recevied a small hole( barely noticed it) in the wing. Patched it up and took off. When I took off I got lil close to the weeds and flew through'em. [&:]I flew around a bit. I did a few circles and did a roll. I made many approaches to the runway, each time getting lower and lower. The third pass, I greased the landing, I never had a landing that nice.[8D] After gettting the plane, I found several holes on top of the wing from flying through the weeds[:@], I had no holes on the bottom. I guess when I it the weeds, the weeds went over the LE and were hitting the top of the wing. Over all very nice plane. I look forward to next week. In the mean time I'm gonna be putting stickers on the holes instead of white trim

. I need to tell ya what the older guys said " You get on to us for being old, but we know a lil somtin about engines." They are right, I'm young and new and know little, they have been flying longer than I've been alive, and know a thing or two.
