I must say I'm allways amazed at what some guys try to run these little plastic tanks through and what they expect out of them with their two little dinky battery motors.I guess it speaks volums as to how well they realy can take abuse.Do you understand the princa-epals of a tracked vehicle and what actualy takes place with the tracks when you make a turn.Have you ever seen any type of a real tracked vehicle in the field being used under working conditions making turns and see what is taking place with the tracks,-in rock, sand, dirt, and trees and brush.Tracks have to slide in a turn, and when they do stuff is pushed into them.Tracked vehicles tear the hell out of soft surfaces and even the big heavy equipment don't like getting big rocks, pieces of logs jamed into the rollers and sprockets.Think of these little plastic tanks in the scale they actually are and what you are trying to run them in.

P.S. My answer would be,nice smooth cement garrage floor, sidewalks that are in good condition works well, hard dirt with no sticks, rocks,or pea gravel works great.Just depends on how you value your tank and how long you want it to last.
