RE: BVM Bobcat & Rabbit Combo
Mine Is BVM recommended equipment all around with the Kevlar round 28oz in center and UAT, with an AMT Mercury I run pretty much full throttle and start 6 minute timer at takeoff roll out. Land with atleast 14oz in center plus header.
Mine equipped with an Eagle tree and straight level air speeds register 180mph in summer 185-188mph in fall. Verticals drop to 100MPH around 400'. The rabbit sounds like a nice combo and should be better performance numbers easily.
I've seen Patrick Frosts BC with a monster in back and it was too fast and ran out of eyesight quickly given its small size for visual. In my opinion, the only room to improve a BC/Rabbit combo would be to go LITE and get better power to weight combo for verticals. Lipos, wires cut to size, micro servos for valves, liter servos, velcro/carbon substites for plywood mounting parts, maybe even Lectra undercarriage, (uncle bob told me a pound lighter??) titanium screw use, just a few items off top my head.
Photo looks awesome, I know the feeling..............
