Hey,

Kyle,
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I am NOT a wiz on electronics but knowing ac/dc electrcial I can comprehend what your saying. I know I did a poor job tying to tell Joey, but it was more of a warning flag flag for hime rather than a full explanation. Thanks again.

Well I am middle of the T-28 rebuild which next to balsa planes is a joke but still a lot of work. I have to remove the servos from the old wing and fuse and reinstall them in the new one and goop in place. Then I went to reinstall the ESC into the new fuse and found the new fuse had a poor glue job so I had to reglue at least 3/4 of it and will let it sit over night, dont want to use fixer. Then I saw that several of the wires on the ESC were stripped in places so I had to slip over some heat shrink, I dont want a short in the air.

Something interesting, when my servos strip from a crash it is the main gear and generally one or two teeth. As that main gear only turns like 1/3 of its total diameter I tried something. I took off that gear and turned it so as to put the stripped side to the back. Then marked and hooked up the servos over and over and over again and it centers perfectly and that side with the bad tooth stays on the backside unused. This would be a great field repair if needed.

Oh, I was at the Park at 5:45 a.m. and and had the helis on a table I bring by my tailgate. Up rolls a Police Car! They get out and I think ok, I am gonna kicked out. No but rather they were so impressed with the helis they asked if I could fly one. So I sent up the 600 and flew low and high and then over by where they were standing (a safe distance) and they were in really impressed.

My buddy that lives across from the Park that is my noob trainie with his new 400 was late and in bed. He had the window open in his bedroom which is 150 yards from where I spooled up the 600. He said he herd the wine of the motor and it woke him up and in the car he came LATE LOL. It made me think, if he can hear it so can others. So perhaps I'll keep the 600 down until like 7:00 a.m. as there are no bushes or trees between us so I can see where the sound could travel. I dont want a complaint of course.
