RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!
Dave- Though what happend is truly sad to hear, I read your story with a smile on my face picturing you walking up to a floating car and saying, "Honey, how did this happen?". I hope the damage isn't too bad and you get it running again. Glad that Liz is OK too!
Jpee- It's good to make friends with those cops, bring doughnuts next time you go fly! LOL Just kidding. I'll bet your heart sank when they pulled up, right after you sent that e-mail off too!
I dumped my Flasher this AM. All was well and doing the normal things when I decided to do a roll going directly away from me (tail in to my body in other words). Well, When she came out of the roll it was flying backwards toward me. Having just come out of inverted hoer practice, I gave back when I should have given forward and drove it into the ground. Damage looks to be a fly bar, feathering shaft, and maybe a main shaft-havent checked yet but no visible bend in it. The canopy has a little battle scar but the metal head, tail, frame, and skid all survived with no apparent damage. Oh..... the glue for the boom support horns pulled out but the supports themselves didn't break. Just need to CA them back together. I'm not happy to have crashed but am happy it held up very well in the mayhem!
