Ya had to go and do a test flight smacking into a tree didn't ya...?! LMAO !

Yeah thank-goodness for the tractor for sure on that one...

Can Kyle borrow it for his Firebird, which I'am assuming is still residing in one of his trees...?!
Oh.... You still would have had option B...... CHAINSAW....

That option was hard at my dads in Cali, because the law forbided you from cutting any tree over 10" in diameter.... Even if it was on your property... YIKES...

Makes kinda sense though in that area.

I just store my batteries in my HOT car..... Why...?..... Is that bad....?!

Naw, they usually spend there time in the garage on the wire shelf I have... I'am not to paranoid about it, but should be a little more. Nothing wrong with being to safe, that's for sure...

No lipo in my DX7, although I think Rick, and Jer do use a lipo and have had no probs I believe.... How nice it would be to not have to charge it all the time that's for sure. Some vendors sell lipo's specifically for our TX's. Like JPEE, I'am to afraid of it voiding the warranty and such... After all, Horizon Hobby does have excellent customer service so gotta take advantage of that if need be, but never had to yet. (Knock on wood)...

That's weird, I was just thinking about ya this morning as I was on the forums, and wanted to post to wonder how your doing, and hoping things were going ok for the Chief... Then low and behold, I see you post and your talking about doing some trolling in Liz's car...!

I REALLY hope things are ok for it. Let it dry out, and like Jay mentioned, my worst fear is she killed it in the deep water and then maybe tried to even re-start it with the muffler exposed underwater. Or maybe the distributor cap got some splashes in her. Some aren't sealed all that perfect, and some are. My Honda's and Acura's I always have to cover the cap, and the exposed air-intake because otherwise the water will sneak in there when I'am washing out the engine.... Then I blow-dry it with my Echo blower...
Keep us informed....

Good to hear the 450 held up, but sorry for the crash... I almost wiped out my 450 yesterday also... Last time I flew it was a month ago, but I did hover it in my yard a few weeks ago trying out a 12t pinion with the 4400 kv -6 Scorpion... It came back to me slowly, but the first few minutes were kinda hairy, and jittery...
