Spiraling Aeromaster?
Bob, Let me ask you one question. As the plane was spiraling in, did you hold full up elevator in an attempt to pull it out from the spiral?
If you did, you did what's known as the death spiral. You stalled the airplane and put it into a deeper stall as you pulled more up elevator. The fix for that is less angle of attack by less up elev. or even some down elev. untill flying speed is regained. Then land as normal. Mark
PS If you didn't hold full up elev. then I have no #$%# Idea what the problem was. Good Luck !
