Default RE: Great Planes Reactor 120-160?

ORIGINAL: kochj

Is the dowl a ANTI-rotation pin??
I think that with ANY plane....Glue back in what falls out!....

Drip thin CA within the wings, and use polyester glue were you can get it...

If you need extra support, you can always use Milled fiberglass or microballons
with the CA, for gap filling ect...

I have had great results doing this approach... No noticeable wieght gain, and major strenth added....

I have owned planes that were suppost to fall apart (others had failures)
and mine stayed together
No, There is a wood dowel inside the aluminum wing tube. Thats what fell out.
Yes Glue it back in.
The wing tube is so thick and heavy ( The thing is a weapon ) That it probably wouldn't make a difference if you left it out. But Great planes stuck it in there for a reason. Better to be on the side of caution I guess. At least until you get a lighter carbon one
