So i started flying over the summer under the tutelage of Bingofield. He taught me everything i know, got me soloing, gave me an old alpha of his, when i put it in the ground last month, wrecked to the point where many would probably pitch it, he helped me peice it all back together. Ive flown his tiger 2 (or tiger 40) and his astro hog on buddy box and i really love the low wing planes. I think im pretty set on getting a GP escapade for my glow second plane (i have hobbyzone phantom for parkflying), but a few others sparked my interest. I want to stay prob under 150ish for the airframe i could go up alittle but i am a college student and though im working full time these next few weeks before classes start money is always alittle tight. I saw the GP super sportster i think on tower had some kind of deal attachted too it maybe a 20 dollar gift certificate. Any other low wing first planes out there that anyone would recommend. I loved the tiger but Id like to try something new. I do have a tower 20$ certificate at the moment so that helps too. Tower is out of escapades till the end of august but my LHS has one left in stock. Ive read good things about it so i was thinking going with that and using my tower certificate for the engine or electronics.

I do have a os .46 ax in my alpha should i get new better engine in my low wing or is the ax enough for a escapade or something of the like. I was thinking i could move the ax to the low wing and by a cheaper two stroke like a Thunder tiger or super tigre for the alpha.

I do have a extra reciever ready and waiting to go, I got my radio here from RCU got a JR 632 with two r700 recievers.

Anyways just wonderin what ya'll thought of the escapade or any other recomends for me.

I do plan on getting a kit for over the winter as well. I love the building and RIT (my college) has an awsome aero modelers club with a whole workshop for plane storage and they got tons of tools. I was thinking of a easy starter kit like the tower uproar for over the winter build, what you guys think of that also.
