I must need my medication AGAIN. As I read what I posted how dumb am I? of course a balance connector won't have any effect on the pack. As yes, if it were off at charging al of my chargers would tell me so (some of my chargers charge and balance through that connector, the others have the EC3 connector and the balance connector). Yes the main black and red were solidly still connected.

LMAO....I use medication as the EXCUSE (causes my brain to skew), not the fix making it better.
Batteries....as I told Dave with these Zippy's I'm running, I've learned a lot. The first time they puff....junk. Watch constantly the heat buildup on the batteries, they can be warm...but not HOT. If they get excessively warm after a flight...the battery is going south on you. Another way to check how good or bad they are is to charge them fully and let them set for 24 hours. Then, put them back on the charger and if the fully charged indicator comes on immediately, they're good. If they take a 5 to 20 minuet charge...something is wrong with the battery...they should maintain a charge without draining in 24hours.
I spent $280 on li-po's last year. I was running scaler fuselages and that's HARD on batteries and life was expected between 3-6 months. Now I run my heli as stock, the batteries never get hot....hoping for a year on these I got now.
