Default RE: The name for this tx mix?

ORIGINAL: expo

I reversed the channel 1 and 6 servo connections to get the surfaces moving in the same direction. Doesn't make sense but it helped.
Now I'm wondering if the ailerons shouldn't move opposite to the elevator for 3D maneuvers.
What do you think before I take it up?

Actually it does make since and pluging the left side, right side to which channel and the reversing combinations is common to to flaperons and Elevator to flap mixs on all brands and if you don,t know you can try each possible combo but it is tedious.

The whole idea of Elevator To Flap mix is for the flaps (both ailerons) to move when you make an elevator imput in the opposite direction while still allowing roll control while using the ailerons to move the ailerons (flaps) differentially. In other words if you move the elevator stick so the trailing edge of the elevator goes up then this will cause both ailerons (flaps) trailing edges to go down. This has been a technique on controlline for fifty years and it works fine on certain RC aircraft to enable tighter loops and loop combinations both inside and outside.

Suggest you program it through a switch if not already so you can tryt it first in flight a little at a time. The percentage of the mix should be kept low at first, perhaps around 25% untill you have a chance to practice with it.
