I recently picked up a box of 10 weed whacker engines for cheap and I want to use one of the engines in my next boat build but I really dont know to much about this engine. The only label on the engine says its a Mcculloch Mac 80 engine with a serial of 00011792. If anyone has any information on this engine regarding cc's or hp or really anything it will be greatly appreciated. Also, when I purchased this box of engines, a few of them were "water cooled" as the guy I bought them from was going to use them in his boats but never got around to it. The thing is though it has a water jacket type cooling that has a few fins machined down and has copper tubing wound around it. would that actually cool it good enough? Thanks
