RE: 1970's Classic Pattern Action Picture's
Hey Aurora - Thanks for the nice word's. I spent a lot of time with DB in his basement building Phoenix', before he became DB Products. What a great guy, and his wife Sally. I never got to his flying ability, but liked to compete. We both worked at World Engine's back in the early day's, and were always looking for a new practice field close to work, as the club field was a 25 mile drive. In the evening, after flying a bit, it would be getting dark, I had to put my lights on to go home. Could not see the plane's, and Dave still had to put up one more flight. I think he could have flown those planes blindfolded.
