Default RE: CRRC 40cc kit

I have mine in an 81" GP Yak 54, came out very, very heavy although I don't know why, think it's about 16.5 lbs dry, only addition is smoke, a Bisson Pitts muffler (tried to get one from Jtec which would have been heavier but they couldn't...and still...can't get their act together after three attempts at making a muffler so I bailed on them) and a better tailwheel. It flys the plane "ok", forget "3D" which is fine by me because I think that stuff is dumb looking anyway. Haven't found the perfect prop for this engine / plane, the 20 x 8 is just a little too much, would like some more RPM, but anything that gets me the RPM doesn't give enough thrust. It also needs the carburetor vent hole plumbed inside the fuselage because it is extremely sensitive to airflow, took a while to get the mixture right. Because I asked for a baffle in the muffler I probably lost some power but I can live with that as it's as quiet as my 90 4 strokes...and the smoke is awesome!
