As I wrote (and you agreed), it is rather risky...

The Magnum/ASP .40 Pro P+L set is a drop-in replacement in the OS.40FX crankcase and on the con-rod and wrist-pin.

Why take the chance that the original OS sleeve will peel, if you can start with the much cheaper Chinese set and be quite sure it never will?

With its lower cost set, if you 'miss' with the grinder while porting, it will not hurt you as much as well...[8D]
