RE: 3D home made
Hello,
check this plane out. [link=http://spadtothebone.com/freeplans.htm]ESPA3D Plans[/link] (3D and novelty) ive built several of them, great little plane to fly! harriers at less than walking speed, and at less that 1/3 throttle. it is a very fun plane to fly, sure its not really a hard-core 3D plane but its a great plane to fly in the back yard on a lazy sunday evening. it is extremly easy to build and probably costs less than $10 per plane! ive found them nearly impossible to destroy, and if it does break its just about the easiest thing to fix in the world.
as for electronics, they recomend a brushed motor, i tried this and found it to be very weak and heavy. ive flown mine with an e-flite 370 outrunner and a thunderpower 1320 11.1V lipoly, but i found my set-up to be a bit overkill, unlimited vertacal though. NOTE: Not a beginer plane!! it is for experianced pilots! and if you are one it is a joy to fly.
hope this helps!
