Did you finish your Extra? I flew mine a couple of times on Sunday before my Spektrum 6i broke - the up trim switch on the throttle just stopped working. The plane flies great - I just need to get half a dozen flights on it to get comfortable.
I bought a use JR8103 from a friend at the club which has been converted to 2.4. Tonight I started build the Sig Somethin Extra - it looks like a much simpler build.
