Hey,I got a chuckle out of that too,because I do the same thing when I hear guys swear by synthetic,lol.

I like castor because I've seen a few engines that ran cool power after sitting on the shelf awhile. With that much rust in.....I couldnt believe I was able to break them loose! I used to have an engine that I ran only synthetic in and it would squeak like crazy and all the guys would laugh at it and I thought it was the motors hub rubbing on the crankcase of something......here after switching to my own fuel with a castor mix,it hasnt squeaked a single time and I can now brag how great of an engine it is. Castor has proven itself to me a couple times over,while full synthetics have failed in a couple ways a couple times over. Its cool to see the veterans at my club commenting on how great our custom fuel is with its castor blend in. I guess sometimes its all in the luck of the draw I guess.
