Default RE: CAMODEL PASSPORT DELUXE KIT

J-P,

I have this exact plane in my garage. I have about 8 flights on it now, in this same scheme. These small imperfections are the what is to be expected if you are not willing to build a model yourself or willing to spend top dollar for other ARF's. There are a few things I wish were better, but overall, what CA Models delivers for the price-point is very good. Frankly, it is unreasonable to expect a level of precision and detail higher than what they produce without a significant price increase.

We are all educated builders and flyers. No one has hidden that making weight in electric is difficult to do with this particular plane. While I am sympathetic to your situation - as I would be for any modeler - if you were serous about making weight you should have bought all your E-equipment first, weighed them, and then selected an airframe you felt comfortable building to come underweight.

If you wanted to achieve perfect precision, you should have bought a molded airplane: Whistmodel, JM-Composities, Extreme Composites. If you wanted the best money could buy, you should have bought an Oaxi. Again, we are all educated readers and users of the equipment, and no has ever tried to say that if you buy a $2500 plane, you are going to get the same level of detail and quality control that you get for a $3500 plane.

Again, I'm sympethatic for your situation, but it is time to change the subject.
Respectifully,
Jim Woodward
