The good thing about it these days are the price points. Most people wanting to get into flying can afford a good trainer thats ready to go like the Tower. I think RCKen or Minn (I forget) has had some experience with the Tower and has recommended it before. I'd take that as a good indication that it's a good trainer.
One more thing, FP, when you get your plane there may be some wrinkles in the covering, this is normal. You can use a regular clothes iron (put it in an old tshirt or something if your worried about scratching the covering). Start on a low temp and gradually increase it until the wrinkles start to shrink away. If you stick with planes you'll end up getting a covering iron and a heat gun at some point (for kit building or repairing), but you won't necessarily need it right now.
