The quadra 35 was my first gas engine.
I had made a piano wire hook to push on the regulating membrane in order to lift the fuel needle. I could then push on the hook, rock the prop to and fro against compression, and the carb would inject fuel until hissing wet.
Behind the prop I had a rope pulley. When wet, I wound the rope three turns around the pulley, and one or two pulls would get the engine going
