It needs the wheel to have control. Just run pull pull cables to the back through some nylon tube. run these off the rudder servo no extra weight.

Hey guys, not sure of the geometry but has anyone considered just running springs from the rudder tiller to the tailwheel tiller to steer the tailwheel? Could this work?
Jim, I don't think you understand... I'm talking about running springs from the control arms of the rudder tiller to the control arms of the tailwheel. Then the rudder servos steers the tailwheel too. I've done and seen this on other planes, but I'm not sure I've ever seen this on a plane with a retract. In any case, I'll have TBM retracts for my Ultra-R/C Zero on Wednesday, and I'll check for myself, but I just wondered if anyone else had considered it.
