Default RE: change Focus Sport to Electric

ORIGINAL: burtona

First 3 flights on my Electric Focus Sport today.
Setup as follows:
Motor - E-Flite Power 110
ESC - Castle Creations 85 HV
Battery - Rhino/Zippy 4900 2 X 4S
Aileron Servos - JR9411SA
Elevator Servos - JR 3421SA (2)
Rudder Servo - JR 8411SA
Receiver - Spekreum 9000 with 2 remotes
RX Barttery - Fromco Relions 2200 LiOn
All up weight - 9.95 lbs

Very nice flying plane. Plenty of power to fly P-09 (and then some!)
More trimming needed. I need to adjust the incidence/thrust to correct a slight pull to canopy on downlines. More work on throttle curve to get the power to come on a little sooner.
Plane needed one click of aileron trim and 2-3 clicks of down elevator off the board. CG seemed about right so far but more flights and trim work to further check. Probably need a little more right engine thrust by shiming the mount.
I'm pretty happy with it so far. I'll fly again tomorrow to continue getting everything sorted out.
To save some weight all you need is a 730ma 2S Prolite V2 for your Rx. You will typically consume 50ma per flight. Maybe some carbon gear or a carbon wing tube can reduce your weight even more.
