Oracus I dont know what direction to point you in as far as fixing your problem. But I can tell you the Futaba 9650 is a awsome tail srvo. I have it one my HDX and it's been through a ton of crashes and always bounces back.

Crash, I may be able to mount the gyro underneath the frame. Well see what happens when I finally get the gyro.
