Ok well the EXI is still not flying. After changing thr/pit curves went outside to test and was better I still need more pitch earlier. While I was out I decided to work on getting the gyro/tail tuned everything was working like it is supposed to but tail was wagging in HH and Rate with gain at or near 0% well next thing is no tail response it just stopped YEP lost a tail servo. I had a Hxt-900 on the tail and gyro(1st thing I checked)was in the correct setting mode for analog servo. This servo has only had ''bench'' testing done maybe a hop or two but no hovering. I have spare Hxt servos but don't want to burn another one and I'm not touching the Belt Cp just for a servo. So now I am at looking for a good digi servo futaba 9650 BUT also don't want to destroy a high $$$ servo if the problem is the gyro. The only reason I think this is the last crash that I had was HUGE and I haven't had that gyro in the air since. I might have to swap gyros to test(G90 from Belt) But again I got a felling that these cheap servos just aren't up to the task of tail servo.
I ran an HTX-900 on the tail for one day. The work good on collective but are crap on the tail and a lot to do with that is centering precision....HTX-900's are what they are...they're not high priced digitals for sure. You could use an E-Sky digital 75 and be OK I think.
