I've heard of SO MANY guys liking the G401b from here on RCU, and over on Helifreak. Guys use it also on there Trex 500's without any probs as I've also read. Like Jay, my GY401's rest up front under the battery tray. Never a problem being there, and all have survived my crashes. Just some more FYI for ya. It doesn't matter where ya stick yours, its all preference.... The thing will surprise you, and is all ya need for now.

I've only heard of one gent not liking the G401b, and that was from Baurwin over on the Struggling thread who uses both the Gy401's and the G401b's, and he said he doesn't like the 401b as it didn't perform like his 401's do.... BUT its the only thing I've ever heard ! And for my next gyro, I'am going with the G401b to give it a shot though as I feel confident enough about it...

Oh... maybe you could squeeze one on a MCX.... ?!
