I know the "pros" say this doesn't happen, but it DOES. Just yesterday I hooked up a HiMax 5330 to an Electryfli SS60 ESC the motor was running smoothly, but backwards, so I did the "switch any two wires" thing. On the nexty start-up the motor simply stuttered (as I call your twitch), but wouldn't run. Changed a different combination of two wires and got in five flights with no problem.
