Also, a few things to remember. Since the Super Cub is a very light airplane, it is imperitave that you head it directly into the wind on takeoff and landing until you have several flights under your belt. If you try to take off or land in even a light crosswind as a beginner, you will have a hard time, as the wind tends to push the plane to one side. A new pilot might not be able to make the slight corrections needed, as all of your concentration will be on keeping the plane in one piece.
Also, don't get too aggressive with the elevator on takeoff, let the plane come up on it's own. Too much elevator, and it will have a tendency to want to roll or stall. Once you are off the ground, get as much altitude as you can quickly. The higher you are, the more time you have for corrections if the plane gets out of control.
