I am new to the forums here and R/C Tanks ...well R/C anything. Why Iwould post here is that avendor at the statefair sold R/C vehicles for land, air, water and everything in between. Looking around their booth they hadthese tanks on display. At first I didn't think anything of them. Unfortunately, they were charging and couldn't see them in action. To my surprise they featured airsoft andboasted up to 80 feet in distance. I was sceptical about that claim but one of the employee's assured me that it's true(So it has to be true right). I was a bit anibrieated at the time, so this was all kind of a blur and asked if it would break the skin, his response was "it stings and mosquito bite welt at worst." I COULDGETBEHINDTHAT! The $99 + 9% tax price tag for something I never seen before was a little more of an impulse buy at the moment. Especialy when beers were $5 a pop and the night was young. So I skipped it...

Couldn't stop thinking about them, soafter researching themon theinternet, I'm going to get one.I'm glad I waited as I ran into this forum and some of the brightest posts and helpful people.knowing that there is somewhat of amarket for these tanks and replacement parts and upgrades, I'm pretty confident of spending muchmore then $100 for the tank and modifications.

I will probably post another thread on my build once I figure out what I'm getting.
