Fascinating thread I'm 32 flying for about 3 years I'd say total. Started out on Foamies shunning glow because of the mess and cost Recently was given a rebuilt Avistar with a .35 put 38 flights on that and upgraded to a thunder tiger pro .46 now I'm up to 48 flights and burning holes in the sky with this thing (what a blast). In return I've gotten the other guy hocked on foamies (HA! TAKE THAT) now I'm looking at bigger planes. And the cost? well... I'm pretending that I'm not thinking about it I figure if i go gas it would be cheaper for me some how, haha dunno if that will work out though.
