Default RE: old astro hog question

My Astro Hog was 20 years old when I got it.
It has a single servo for the ailerons and it is plenty.

If the hinges are CA type make sure to check them extensively before each flight and never forget to do it.
I was lucky, when one of the ailerons fell off I had asked one of the instructors to fly the plane and evaluate it to make suggestions on CG, control throws, and general capabilities.
He was knife edging and one of the ailerons popped off, he calmaly landed the plane and upon further inspection every remaining hinge had failed or was about to.
I was lucky the elevator did not fall off because it could have, not a lot that anyone can do without an elevator.
