Thank you, Pitts! This is exactly how I was planning on doing it, but I was not sure if the CG will be affected by the battery being so far back. I'm guessing you haven't had any issues so that's how I will proceed.

My other question is about the pilot figures - what scale is a good fit for this model?!? 1/5th maybe?


p.s. I will post pics once I've completed the model; I am working on odds and ends right now, but unfortunately I managed to f-up the canopy and I am waiting on my LHS to get me a replacement ((( I just called them and they said it might be another week or so, which sucks, because I was hoping to do the maiden this weekend. Oh well...
