[img]I know what you mean when it comes to a plane that get blown all over and you just wanna go up and fly. I have a Goldberg Eagle II had it for about 20 years and never had a problem. If i was looking for a trainer i would be looking at the alpha trainer by hanger 9

But another plane that i love flying and is really a trainer at heart is the towerhobbies kaos 40. Its a 55" wing and runs great on any .46 motor. The best part is the wind doesnt move it at all. Also it has a trainer style wing so it has those self correcting tendencies that your looking for in a trainer. This plane can really grow with you too. It lands like a high wing trainer and you can land it hot like a jet. But its a great plane to learn on and i would recommend it to anyone. plus i think its around 100 bucks for a ARF from towerhobbies. Also the pics on the site look horrible so i attached one of mine.
