It's possible. You should be able to measure the one shown in the plan, then go to Tower Hobbies and check out the fuel tank sizes. However, I fit a 14 oz Sullivan flex tank in mine, and it's worked fantastic. Remeber, you want enough space between the tank and the fuselage so you can pad it with foam.

As far as control rods, 4/40 is in order for this bird.
