Child support cash awards to the mother are unrealistically high. What it amounts to is both Child and Mommy support. In today's society where Mommy can go out and make more money than Daddy if she wants to work hard enough, it is a sad fact of life that child support awards create a situation where all some Daddys can afford to do is live in a friend's basement and take his boy out for a Happy Meal on the weekends.

The child support industry in this country is a National Disgrace.
