One of the best planes I've ever had for relaxed flying was a Gentle Lady with an RC PAW .049 Classic. Once at altitude I could just throttle the little diesel back and putter around in the blue. The power pod was just scaled up from some tractor .020 pod on something I had a magazine size plan page for, maybe a Guppy. With a 1 oz CL wedge tank in the pod the PAW ran longer than my neck liked looking way up and certainly longer than my attention span. I spent a lot of time playing with the the flap reflex set up coming in hot and fast at idle and "cruise" 10º up flaps and bouncing back to altitude with a brief application of full down flaps and adding lots of throttle while zeroing the flaps for climb out.
