I'd like a copy of the plans for my files. While you're building, trace all the parts with dimensions - makes building a copy much easier!! (I'll take a copy of the parts sheet, too - if you get the time).
This is the right forum for your build thread: A) we all love to build; B) the design is pretty outdated for FAI level competition (but still a beautiful, great flying airplane). If you fly off a grass field, you might consider fixed gear, but it is not necessary unless the field is rough. The airplane will have a higher 'coolness' factor in the air with retracts!
Keep up the thread - lots of photos are GREATLY appreciated!
