Default RE: places to fly

To fly at any of those clubs, you'll have to join the AMA. I doubt any of the clubs have free memberships either.

Intro Pilots - Each AMA charter club can designate certain members as "Intro Pilots", at a cost of $5 per year per Intro Pilot. Members designated as Intro Pilots can train newbies under the AMA's Intro Pilot Program. That program allows newbies to learn to fly with an Intro Pilot for up to 90 days before they are required to join the AMA. During this period, the Intro Pilot must log all sessions, and they are covered under the AMA liability insurance.
