Exceedingly few have ever seen a Giles/MX2/MXS-R (although that will change with Rob Holland, Nigel Lamb, Gary Ward, and Greg Poe flying the beast in airshows and RBAR), Slick 360/540 (NONE in North America yet), etc.
Can't help much with any of those guys but Lamb....however, here's the 5 -R's in their RBAR schemes for this year. And hey, it's an excuse for me to show off a few pics, I admit it.
Probably the most talented of the bunch (and yes, i know who i'm comparing him to...see below) is rookie Matt Hall. Not a bad looking airplane, but just doesn't "do it" for me:
You've mentioned Lamb already, of course...here's a shot of his 2009 scheme (I ADORE this one, but then...I have a thing for black/yellow airplanes):
Alejandro Maclean's is probably the "plainest" of the -R's on the circuit...I DO kinda like it though...
Sergey Rakhmanin's is the most "boring" of the group, imo.
And then there's arguably the most recognizable of the 5, Peter Besenyei (Without a doubt, one of the most talented pilots in the world...but I fear, to be honest, the -R is simply ahead of him this year) This is a gorgeous scheme too, imo.
This plane looks great!
Couldn't agree more.
