.......some guy had a B29 with the Bell X-1 hung in the bomb bay, he climbs to about 400' releases the Bell X-1 it glides in and just before touchdwon lights off rocket motors that must that it tl 6/700 feet. The pilot put the B-29 in a flat spin and recovers about 100' up, he flys it inverted, rolls it, talls it, make unbeliveable high-speed low passes you have to again see to believe......
This was Mac Hodges. He does this demo all over the country. Last year he crashed the B-29 doing the demo when a wing panel came off in the flat spin. He has a new one built and just flew it in public 2 weeks ago. This flight here at the B-17 Gathering was only the second time it's been flown in public (total of about 25 flights on the plane at this time). Here is the HD video I shot at the event of that flight. It's really pretty impressive to see.

Excellent job of flying, it looked almost as good as the real thing. Do ya have any close up stills of it on the ground Ken?
