If you assemble the Escapade as the directions say and don't do a whole bunch of modifications to it, it will be a nice east to fly sport plane. You might have your instructor test fly it for you and maybe buddy box you a flight. A 46 is plenty big enough, it will maintain level flight at 1/4 throttle or less with a 46. It is easy to take off and lands very slow. I think you'll like it if you get one.
