I have several AR500s and I LOVE them. Not a lick of trouble.

Frankly, I would look at the transmitter for problems if it will not bind with multiple receivers.

The cutoff is voltage based. 74% of starting voltage. Both the 11.1V 1800mAh pack, and the 11.1V 2200mAh pack have the same voltage, so the cutoff will work the same.
