Default RE: New motor(S-600) + soldering= Me FAIL

ORIGINAL: SyCo_VeNoM

25w iron should solder a wire just fine I use a adjustable 15-35 watt personally because I also solder delicate IC's to circuit boards when I make other things.

Pencil shape = best

as long as its not one of those crappy gun shaped ones that you pull a trigger to heat up. Those are pretty bad from experience (been soldering stuff for over 15 years)

as for heat up time it depends on the soldering iron I find some I owned take 2 minutes some have been 6 just take the solder and touch the tip of the iron every minute or so if it melts easy its at the right temp to solder. Here is a decent guide for noobs to soldering found on you tube

Ok, i tried to unsolder the wires off of the titan 12t by heating up the part where the wires connect (not the solder), and it changed coler, but the wire wouldn't budge. It became a bit shinier.
Maybe i was just to impatient, (my tip was also black with other things on it<probably why)
