Default electric starter 3d

Alright herese my back story. I never thought of trying the little electrics or much of electrics in general. I have been flying nitros since the beginning of the summer and love the larger heavier planes, I have an alpha 40 and escapade 40. I plan on building a kit soon at least the size of a 60, maybe a 90. But recently I had wanted to get into helis and got used deal on a dx6i, a blade cx2 and a blade 400. But now i have the dx6i ( before i had only had a 3 model old jr 72 mhz.) and i joined a aero design team at my school. I was thinking about giving a smaller electric or two a shot, since i got 10 model spots on the dx6i and already have 2 lipos for the blade 400 ( dont know if those same lipos would be usable on the planes but...).

But ive been staring down electrics in a new light, a couple of the guys have the smaller sized electrics. And the portability and versitilty is very attractive. theres a baseball dimond 300 feet away, where i gotta go pretty far to fly my nitros. I also wanted to give 3d a shot, with something i dont gotta worry about as much as a balsa big plane. So i liked the ideas of the profile planes like flatana or the rcuniverse bipe from GP, or GP's flexfoam 3d planes like the ucando3dd or yak that are in that flex foam. Any other rec's or anything to warn me about?

Like i said somehting im interested in and could use some ideas from the people that know.

Thanks.
