Orange ... not meant to be an insult but stay away from Flatouts and planes of that sort. They fly well BUT its for pros only. Those planes are not happy when we dork them. I have been flying for a while now and recently I got the DualSky Breeze Pro and the Breeze ES. I started to break them again like I did a few years back with the FlatOuts. Look for planes made of EPP such as the planes seen in HobbyCity called SOUKA etc. The Multiplex Park Master is nice too but its bigger. They are not the most rigid planes but will survive a beginner's abuse and can be repaired using CA for immediate field repair.
You need to decide what sort of battery packs you want to use, 3S 900 or 3S 1,500 or 3S 2,200s. I am enjoying flying smaller 3D planes such as the DualSky Breeze ES on a simple 3S set up. Shop at Hobby City and you will be shocked to see how cheap the batts/esc/motor can be.
