I myself am not exactly clear on which lubricants are used best for certain parts. It's kind of confusing, since for example Tamiya supplies ceramic grease, and some other grease with a complicated spelling that i'm not gonna attempt but starts with an M, then there's lithium grease that i use for my spur/pinion gears. Towers website states almost the same description about all of the above mentioned. There is also AW (anti wear grease) made by Tamiya which i think is what you should be using for your shafts/metal bearings, if you have some. It definitley attracts dirt that's for sure.
