Default I Flew On Sunday!!

Finally, I got my first flight in. It's taken 10 weeks of frustration before it happened.

Bought and assembled an Electric Wattage Impress and took it to the club field for 8 weeks, but it was far too windy for me to fly.

It got in to the air once with one of the most experienced instructors at the controls, but we curtailed the flight because of the wind.

Now I have a Seagull Boomerang with an OS 46LA and it was completed Saturday.

Sunday was fine, bright and clear, so it was fuelled up and my man Eddie checked it out, took off and trimmed it.

Then it was over to me - what a blast!! Far to heavy on the sticks and the box was taken off me about five times in two 10 minute flights. Man, was I sweating and shaking after that. Needs one of two mods on the undercarriage, but hey - IT FLEW - I FLEW IT!!

Here's a link to a photo in my Gallery.

Can't wait for next week, but I realise, I did the right thing by joining a club http://widnesmfc.tripod.com/ and having the good guys check out the stuff and help out. They are a great group of people and can't help newcomers enough. Thanks to all.
